On 26 August 1894, Marion Harley Bunn, daughter of Henry Alfred and Margaret (Wilson) Bunn of St Kilda, married Thomas Alexander Ward Smiley, son of Shepherd Parkman and Margaret Phoebe (Ward) Smiley. Arthur Bernard Bunn, born on 10 March 1873 at St Kilda, Victoria, was the 10th of the 12 children of Henry Alfred and Margaret (Wilson) Bunn. He worked as a drilling contractor in country Victoria.
On 14 June 1899 at Elsternwick, he married Jessie Maria Harris who was born on 17 April 1868 at Morses Creek (now known as Bright). Jessie was one of four children (her siblings were Elizabeth, Jane and Valentine). She was remembered by her children as a gifted pianist.
Jessie (Harris) Bunn died in 1948, Arthur Bunn died on 20 March 1952. The picture at right shows Arthur Bunn in 1951, about a year before he died.
