Bunn Family History

Alfred John Bunn (1862-1916) was the second of 12 children of Henry Alfred and Margaret (Wilson) Bunn. In 1889 he married Charlotte 'Lottie' Swinburne. The couple had five children. Following Alfred's death at age 54, Lottie opened a small shop near a school at Albert Park.

Click here to see larger image.Marion Harley Bunn (1871-1957) was the 8th of the 12 children of Henry Alfred and Margaret (Wilson) Bunn. She grew up in St Kilda but following her marriage to Tom Smiley in 1894 she found herself travelling around Victoria and South Australia, to be with her husband who worked in rural areas. She and her family eventually settled back in St Kilda.
